Stay

I never knew that being blind

To some of my flaws

Never meant they'd go away.

I never realized that no,

I wouldn't need to fix them.

That you would love them anyway.

I didn't want to ask too much,

I didn't want to seem ungrateful,

And have you forget how much I need you.

If I could treasure your heart

More than my own, if I could

Repair all the damage by always forgiving you,

Then maybe you'd do the same,

Maybe you'd understand my need

And sacrifice to not throw this chance away.

Maybe you'd find it a reason to stay.
